Yoga is....amazing! I should know, I've been practising it for over twenty years!

No seriously, yoga is huge at the moment. It has had a resurgence and it is here to stay. An ancient practice originating from India, it not only works on the physical body but on the mental and emotional bodies too.
Because there are so many elements to yoga you can use it for any requirement. If you want to tone up and improve your posture you can use it for that. If you want to de-stress you can use the breathing exercises and the more meditational aspects of yoga. Yoga will work on your body, mind and soul anyway! regardless of what you are using it for. Our body, mind, emotions and spirit are all linked so when you work on one you automatically work on the rest too.

The physical aspect of a yoga practice that is commonly known today is called Hatha Yoga. There are many different styles of yoga but they all come under the umbrella of Hatha Yoga.
